Dear valued Tillsonburg Dental Centre Patients:
We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health.
Over the last few months our community has gone through unprecedented times and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. We all have been doing our part in trying to flatten the curve and keep our families safe.
Dentists in Ontario have started to re-open in phases and we are now able to see patients again at our clinic on a limited basis. We have been seeing emergency patients and will continue to add further treatment as we are able to as per our regulations. We will be in touch with you and please be patient if you had a cancelled appointment during COVID.
While many things have changed, our commitment to your health and safety is still our main priority. To help you prepare for your upcoming dental appointments, we follow infection control procedures in our practice to keep you and our staff safe.
Our dental office follows infection prevention and control recommendations made by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and Public Health. We follow the activity of the regulatory body so we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection prevention and control procedures are current and at the highest standard.
We have established additional measures to ease you into the new routine and allow you to continue feeling comfortable when you visit the clinic:
1. You will be asked to answer screening questions prior to visit and upon arrival.
2. The door will most likely be locked and please ring the door bell. If you have a mask we encourage you to bring it or even purchase one prior to your appointment. Please put it on before entering the office.
3. You will be asked to use hand sanitizer upon entry. Your temperature may or may not be taken to monitor your health status.
4. Reception area and rest rooms may be closed as per Public Health recommendations.
5. You may not recognize us with all our protective equipment on like masks face shield and gowns.
6. Once seated, you will be given an antiseptic mouth rinse which kills the potential virus in your oral cavity.
7. The same care, gentleness, and dedication will be there for you once procedures begin.
8. Please respect your staggered appointment time to allow social distancing between patients. This appointment time has been reserved for you alone.
We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we have taken to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice.
Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors and friends.
We have missed your smiling faces!
Yours truly,
Your dental team at Tillsonburg Dental Centre
